Authentic to the core in her work and life, Vashti turned her own personal grief and loss following the death of her husband, actor Andy Whitfield (Spartacus Starz Network), into a catalyst for inspiring millions of people worldwide by co-creating and championing the award-winning feature documentary film, Be Here Now.

Released internationally in 2017 on Netflix and in theatres, Vashti and Andy feature in this intimate and honest story of life, love, loss and legacy directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Lilibet Foster.

Her experience with grief has made for a meaningful and deeply poignant career and life helping others in similar situations, often using her Be Here Now Film as a tool to help illustrate the process of loss and in turn, creating a legacy.
